The Course setup is complete and ready for the Dunes Challenge. Greens were cut and rolled this morning to give a stimp reading of 10.75ft. Happy Golfing.

The greens re-generated very quickly. On Thursday (Ladies day and 9-hole members) it was about 45% playable. This was a great recovery within a very short period of time. Putting was interesting with both Wednesday and Thursday competitions using the two-putt maximum rule.
Coring of the greens has commenced. We are solid tining the greens with 24mm tines at 20cm deep. We will then incorporate volcanic rock at 20kg/100sqm with sand aid and Solucal at 2kg/100sqm. Then 30 tonne of sand will be applied. Rolling and mowing of greens 20 May – 28 May. The[…]
